Ok, don’t take offense to this, but it seems like you want to blame the demise of your marriage on everything your ex did, but ignoring the fact that you’re the one who picked him. You probably knew before marriage that he didn’t make as much as you, so he was already not going to be able to put in his share, financially speaking. The fact that he cheated on you was also probably not a surprise. Usually, these things happen while a couple is dating and the woman overlooks it. If you were blindsided, I apologize in advance. However, your rant seems to disqualify a lot of men who are able to take care of themselves and aren’t looking for a mommy. Couples make a decision to have a child, but if one is lazy, then having a child doesn’t change that about them. They will still be lazy. Notice I didn’t use a gender, because I have seen just as many lazy moms as dads. I think your comment comes off as very bitter for a woman who is enjoying her single life so much.
